About People Seating Limited
People Seating Limited was first set up by the Managing Director David Poston, to provide high quality seating products and services. These services include seating, repairs and refurbishment, providing new products for spares or as part of a design and supply contract and restoration of vintage seating.
Over time, the company established a firm foothold in the railway seating market as well as in the bus, coach and automotive seating; developing a reputation for quality products and reliable services at competitive prices. After the first two years, the management decided to take steps to look further for potential customers in order to widen the company's client base. Over the following years, customer/supplier relationships developed with international companies in the truck and van industry, wheelchair and power chair manufacturers as well as manufacturers of gymnasium and leisure equipment.
The management has continued to invest in the company, purchasing state of the art production and office equipment. Plant development has also taken place in 2004/2005 by building a new mezzanine floor which has not only created new jobs but more office space. In November 1998 the company obtained the ISO 9001 quality rating and is continually investing in training programs for the staff.
By adding the ISO 14001 environmental accreditation in July 2000, the company is committed to practice environmental protection actively. Click here to view our environmental policy.
For the future, the company's main aim is still to press further in expanding its market base as well as the customer base that it currently occupies. Additional investment will continue in plant, equipment, and personnel to ensure that the company maintains its competitive edge and optimum customer service.
